Owner Jane Levy discovered her passion for building at a young age. As a child growing up in Freeport, IL., she watched with fascination the home her parents were building. Using her allowance to buy floor plan magazines, she began crafting model homes out of small boxes. While it was apparent that Jane had an eye for design, her interest included the engineering process as well – making sure that all the pieces of her “homes” worked and fit together perfectly.

Levy Custom Homes, Inc. began with the goal of designing and building the finest quality homes. We continue to incorporate this philosophy by not following the crowd, avoiding shortcuts and maintaining an obsessive belief that it can always be done better.

Becoming a Certified Green Professional (CGP), has enabled Levy to help her clients build eco-friendly homes that incorporate environmental considerations and resource efficiency into every step of the building and development process to minimize environmental impact. This also includes saving as many architectural elements from the original structure as possible, and reusing them during the design/build phase to achieve a collected look.

Additionally, Jane Levy is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), allowing her to meet the needs of Baby Boomers who wish to stay in their homes as they grow older.

Our uncompromising level of service and attention to detail extend beyond using the highest quality building materials and finishes for your home. It includes carefully listening to your wishes and needs to create exactly the home you want and guiding you toward decisions that suit your lifestyle now and into the future.

A signature feature of all our homes is the inclusion of one year’s supply of cleaning products specific to your home, as well as a year or more supply of light bulbs and the proper detergents for your washing machine, dishwasher, etc. In addition, a menu of services that includes spring/fall maintenance to resealing granite counter tops is available.
